The Whitman Amateur Radio Club will be participating in Amateur Radio Field Day at the Old Colony YMCA, 635 Plymouth Street, East Bridgewater, MA starting at noon on Saturday, June 24 and going to the early afternoon on Sunday, June 25.
Many folks think “ham radio”, as it is called, is a thing of the past. Well, that's just not true, with just under 800,000 federally licensed operators in the US alone. And approximately another 750,000 licensed in 35 countries worldwide.
