Important Information Regarding Your Tax Bill


This notice is a reminder that, due to the COVID-19 emergency,  the Board Of Selectman voted to postpone interest and penalties on any late payment of any excise, tax, betterment assessment or apportionment thereof, water rate or annual sewer use or other charge added to a tax or any payment with a due date of MARCH 10, 2020 where payment is made after its respective due date but BEFORE June 30, 2020.  ALL payments with a due date between March 10, 2020 and June 29, 2020 must be received by the Tax Collector NO LATER THAN June 29, 2020.

Payments may be made at the Tax Collector’s Office at Town Hall, 175 Central Street, East Bridgewater, placed in the Tax Collectors drop box located to the left of the main door of Town Hall , mailed to the Tax Collectors’ Office, taking into consideration it must be received in the office by June 29, 2020, post marks are not accepted as a receipt date or payment may be made on line from the Town of East Bridgewater Website: 

If a bill with an original due date between March 10, 2020 and June 29,2020 is not paid by the deadline of June 29, the balance due is subject to all interest and penalty retroactive to the original due date of the bill.
