Track and Field Replacement

THIS PROJECT IS BEING ELECTRONICALLY BID AND HARD COPY BIDS WILL NOT BE
ACCEPTED. The bids are to be prepared and submitted at www.projectdog.com, code 859401.

The Town of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, the “Awarding Authority” or “Owner”, invites sealed bids for the
Track and Synthetic Turf Field Replacement at East Bridgewater High School, 143 Plymouth Street, East
Bridgewater, MA 02333 in accordance with Contract Documents prepared by Kaestle Boos Associates, Inc., 16
Chestnut Street, Suite 301, Foxborough, MA 02035.

All bids for this Project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, M.G.L., c.30, §§ 39F - 39R, as
amended and c.149, §§ 44A through 44J inclusive and c.149, §§26 through 27D inclusive and C.193 of the Acts of
2004.

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, 10:00 AM. local time at the
East Bridgewater High School, 143 Plymouth Street, Bridgewater, MA 02333. Bidders are strongly encouraged
to attend.

General Bids will be received until 12:00 PM, on Monday, January 22, 2024 by projectdog.com and publicly
opened, forthwith online.

Every General Bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid
amount, in the form of a certified check; or a treasurer's check; or a cashier's check; issued by a responsible bank or
trust company, made payable to the Town of East Bridgewater; or a bid bond in a form satisfactory to the Town of
East Bridgewater, with a surety company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and
conditioned upon the faithful performance by the principal of the agreements contained in the respective sub-bids and
general bid.
