This month Author Kristen Arute will present a video
on Inge’s life.
Wolf Child— Inge was only 9 years old when she snuck onto a train to
escape her war torn homeland of Konigsberg and find food for her
mother, brother and sister. The Russians had taken over and were
simply allowing the German people to starve to death. Never did she
imagine that she would find herself separated from her family. Forced
to live off the kindness of strangers, Inge made her way through
the Lithuanian countryside until a chance encounter brought about
unexpected changes.
