Boston Children's Hospital Blood Drive

On Thursday, December 22nd from 10am-5pm the East Bridgewater YMCA Department at 635 Plymouth Street is sponsoring a bloodmobile drive in honor of East Bridgewater's own Jase Russell.  Jase has been battling a difficult cancer, neuroblastoma for nearly three years, and his extended family, the Russell and Sullivan families have sponsored bloodmobile drives at the YMCA and St. Ann's in his honor.

Children battling cancer require regular blood transfusions.  The holidays are an exceedingly trying time to maintain our blood supply for patients like Jase receiving care at Boston Children’s.  The kind folks at the YMCA were kind enough to have a Christmas week bloodmobile drive to help boost the blood inventory for our patients.
