Planned Power Outage and Town Hall Closure - Wednesday, April 24

Event Date:
Wednesday, April 24, 2024 (All day)

As part of the installation of a new backup generator for the East Bridgewater Town Hall and East Bridgewater Police Department, the Town Hall will be closed on Wednesday, April 24 (rain date Thursday, April 25) as power will be turned off in the building from 8:00am to 4:00pm that day.

None of the offices in the Town Hall will be open as there will be no power, the phone system and internet will not be working, and there will be no available heating, air conditioning, or lighting.

Residents and visitors should schedule phone calls, emails, and visits to Town Hall or to the departments operating in the building for a different day.

Taxpayers can make payments via https://www.eastbridgewaterma.gov/home/pages/online-bill-payment or using the drop box by the front door of the Town Hall.

Other municipal buildings including the Fire Department, Police Department, Council on Aging, Department of Public Works, and Public Library will remain open with regular hours. However, the internet and phone systems in these buildings may be off-line at various times during the day. The East Bridgewater Public Schools will operate normally.
