Central Elementary School - Request for Services - Owner's Project Manager

Central Elementary School

On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, the East Bridgewater Central School Building Committee began accepting applications from firms for the services of an Owner’s Project Manager (OPM) to conduct a feasibility study and schematic design for the renovation or replacement of the Central Elementary School.

The Massachusetts General Laws and the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) regulations require the hiring of an OPM for any project with a total cost of more than $1.5 million.

The Building Committee will accept proposals from qualified firms during the next two weeks with a deadline of Wednesday, April 17th at 2pm for submission of proposals.

After the bid deadline, through a pre-approved MSBA interview process, the committee will ultimately select one firm and a contract will be negotiated. All selection documentation will be sent to MSBA for a review and approval vote at their June 3rd meeting.  Once the MSBA approves the contract and firm, the Building Committee will work with the OPM to contract with a design firm to conduct the feasibility study and create the schematic design.
