Notice to East Bridgewater Taxpayers

The Town of East Bridgewater Board of Assessors announce that they have received Preliminary Certification for the Fiscal 2021 property values. These proposed values are pending Final Certification by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. This public disclosure is part of the Revaluation and Re-Certification of values that is required by statute every five years.

Values were calculated at “Full and Fair Cash Value” using sales data between 1/1/2019 and 12/31/2019. The valuation for fiscal 2021 is January 1, 2020. The Revaluation resulted in changes of value in ranges of 2% to 6%.

The Assessors completed the revaluation project with the assistance of Consultants from PK Valuation Group of Sandwich, Massachusetts.

The public disclosure period where the proposed values will be available for review will commence October 1, 2020 until October 8, 2020. Proposed new fiscal year 2021 valuations will be available for public inspection and taxpayer review in the Assessors’ Office Research Area and on the town website.

Office hours are Monday 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday – Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday 8:30 a.m. to noon.
